The Geological Community at Department of Geology organized a field trip to Abu Rawash in Cairo as field training for level II students of the department on 19/2/2016.

Fifty students participated in the trip where they studied the geological formations in the area like cleaves, fuel contents in rocks. The trip was under supervision Prof. Dr. Fathy Hasan; Chief of the Geological Community, Prof. Dr. Ahmad El Sabbagh; the Assistant Professor at the department and Geologist/ Mohamed Zakaria; the Demonstrator at the department.
